Post Road Tavern

Went to the new Post Road Tavern this weekend. It is where Yum Mee used to be. A great thing about it is the late night menu: you can get food %26#39;til 1am and it is quite good pub faire. Good selection of beers on tap too. The regular menu did look nice so I%26#39;ll have to go back to check it (get a nice lunch with a beer or two some time).

Good people and good pub. Like an alternative to Maxwell%26#39;s but (I think) better.

I have no idea if/when they%26#39;ll close for the winter - hope not.

We were there this weekend, too. I think this was our 3rd visit since they%26#39;ve opened. I%26#39;m definitely looking forward to trying some of the hardy sounding comfort food items on their menu as the weather gets colder. I beleive they said they would be open year round.

hey Ogtgrrl, you are so right, this place is really good, we had burgers and they are so good and fresh ground beef. great selection of beers, and its pretty chill, and they are better than Maxwells, maybe we will see you there

I also was curious about the new tavern and tried it out. I was really good! It appears to be the place to be on Wednesday nights! Much better than Maxwell%26#39;s

Sounds great! We%26#39;ll try it next year or maybe Columbus Day weekend. Already missing Ogunquit, what a great trip.

OMG!.. haven%26#39;t had anything this good since visit to Europe. ...amazing - try the Chicken w/grape %26amp; apple, or Fish %26amp; Chips! fabulous ... Staff were very friendly %26amp; helpful! We%26#39;ll be traveling the xtra distance to go back - so worth the drive! Thanks SO much for the heads up! Love it!
