Augustine's Restaurant, Daniel Stone Inn, Brunswick, MEAugustine%26#39;s at the Daniel Stone Inn in Brunswick has been closed for several months, but not a year. The fact that you were told it%26#39;s been closed for at least a year may indicate how tough a situation it was to run a successful restaurant out of that location that was not solely dependent on events and Inn guests. And, of course, the 2008 economy didn%26#39;t help. Things have been very tough for Maine restaurants in 2008, even well before the current financial mess. My favorite Bath restaurant, the Vine Street Cafe (formerly MaryEllenz), also closed this year.
Augustine%26#39;s in Damariscotta is still operating.
