suggestions needed: not $$$$ dinner in Portland

Hi-

Last minute help needed. We%26#39;re going to see ';On Golden Pond'; at the Good Theater tonight and plan to eat in Portland before the show. It%26#39;s a ';low-budget'; outing, so am not looking for Fore Street, etc. Any fun place nearby that we%26#39;ve been overlooking?

joesource: Thanks for responding to this. We%26#39;d just been to J%26#39;s and aren%26#39;t really fans of Norm%26#39;s. I looked up Rachel%26#39;s after your reco, but there weren%26#39;t any prices on their site. What%26#39;s the price range? The menu looked great!

(We ended up at Margarita%26#39;s, as I was craving a margarita after a day of intense landscaping in my yard.)

Ri-Ra%26#39;s, Sebago Brewing Company.

whoops never mind that post. The food at margaritas is awful, I hope you just drank!

CaptainNash: You mentioned two spots we really enjoy. Yes, we did eat at Margarita%26#39;s - had the fajitas and enjoyed them.

We like people-watching while sitting at the bar at Sebago Brewing.

good to hear about the food being good, I never had good luck with it.
