Seafood Market

Hi evryone,

I will be renting a vacation home this summer in Boothbay Harbor with my extended family. The house is right on the water and we are looking forward to enjoying some great seafood in the back yard. Can anyone tell me where there is a seafood market in Boothbay? I know we can get lobsters in many different locations but what about clams, oysters, fish etc.

You can pick up lobsters, clams and oysters to cook yourself at many locations in the area.

There%26#39;s Atlantic Edge Lobster and Boothbay Lobster Wharf on Atlantic Ave on the east side of the harbor and Robinson%26#39;s Wharf %26amp; Seafood Market on Southport Island.

For oysters go to Glidden Point Oyster Sea Farm in Edgecomb (about 20 minutes from downtown Boothbay Harbor on the River Rd).

You can even purchase lobsters, clams and mussels at the local Hannafords Supermarket on route 27.

Or if you don%26#39;t want to cook, you can order cooked lobster and clams to go like you would a pizza, at a discounted price from the Boothbay lobster Wharf. Just give them a buzz, place your order and most likely it%26#39;ll be ready for you to pick up 20 to 30 minutes :).

Also check out River%26#39;s End Farm on route 27 in Boothbay for unique ready-made dinners, side dishes, homemade breads, etc.
