biking in Maine

My husband and I like to bike and are thinking of taking a tour with a group this summer in Maine . We also thought we might add a 4 day schooner sailing trip onto it. We often do our own trips but because we have never travelled in Maine we thought we would do a group or some type of group trip this time.

If anyone has trips/companies they would recommend for either the biking or the sailing - that would be great.

We are flexible, but it must be sometime in July or August. Is one month better than the other?

I have noticed that here on MDI (Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park/etc.) there usually is a contingent from Bike Vermont:

I%26#39;m not a cyclist, so I won%26#39;t recommend, other than to say that Bike Vermont seems to be popular.

I had a quick look at their website and they%26#39;re not doing any ';supported'; trips in Maine next year, but they have maps / itinerary suggestions etc and may be a good ancilliary resource for you.
