camping trip to arcadia/nova scotia aug 09

hi everyone i%26#39;m looking for some guidance.. hubby and i are taking a camping trip to arcadia national park and nova scotia from Ny... leaving with our 21ft trailer tues aug 4..... thinking of camping in bar harbour on the water. right near arcadia. spending 6 nights there. Hubby is a huge fisherman..and we both enjoy nature and hiking..whale watching...boating... then on to nova scotia.. taking the cat across on the way over.. driving on the way home.. spending 7 nights in nova scotia before heading back home .. any helpful hints of how best to see what nova scotia has to offer in 7 nites.. we would like to maybe stay in 1 or 2 campgrounds in nova scotia if that makes it easier to experience the different areas of NS.. hubby is big on nautical history and fishing... we enjoy hiking and nature...thanks in advance for your help

Nova Scotia has a great Doers%26#39; %26amp; Dreamers%26#39; Travel Guide that you can either order or download. It has a ton of information about where to stay, eat, hike, shop, drive etc. They have what they call Scenic Travelways and each one is unique. The spots we liked the best: Bay of Fundy; Peggy%26#39;s Cover; All of Cape Breton Island and the Cabot Trail. There are tons of places to hike; tons of moose and eagles. Lots of historic sites, mainly along the Eastern and Southern shores. The guide will give you all the info you need. If you%26#39;re driving back I would assume you%26#39;re going through New Brunswick. I would highly suggest stopping at the Hopewell Rocks on the Bay of Fundy at low tide. Well worth the side trip.
