Econolodge AKA Seasons inn

Just a heads up...the Econolodge in Kennebunk is more than dicey... I stayed their last winter and had no hot water for three days !!! After calling the desk several times to complain/inquire I was told that I should just let it run for four or five minutes and I should be ok.. fine.. still no hot water...the next day at ';breakfast';, I inquired again about the hot water and was again told to let it run..day three repeat but this time the clerk said, something to the effect of ';yeah we usually have a lot of problems like that in those rooms'; On check out I asked about some kind of reduction in rate or discount and was told that the clerk had no authority to do that and I would have to talk to the manager, Carrie. The clerk gave me a ';good luck with that'; kinda nod and I took her business card. Over the next few WEEKS, I tried calling Carrie on several occassion always to be told that she would be in tomorrow, but apparently she and/or tomorrow never arrived. I eventually gave up calling and emailed her, but again no answer. Its not that the rooms are not a good value ($65 per night) but i do expect hot water when renting a room for three nights
