Driving from York Harbor to Ogunquit?

Will be staying at the York Harbor Inn and going on to meet friends at the Gazebo Inn in Ogunquit .. Should I go back to I-95 or continue on Rte 1 or 1A

Rte 1 is a beautiful drive to boot!

If you are going this time of year rte 1 will be o k during the summer it can really bog down . rte 1a is the shore road some nice views but pay attention lots of curves will put you in Ogunquit near perkins cove.Rte 1 any time of year from kittery to portland is just a lot of fast food ,outlets,and tacky gift shops.It is more enjoyable north of portland but is conested thru freeport

Rt 1-A is a better choice than Rt 1 from York to Ogunquit. It%26#39;s a slower drive but you%26#39;ll want to drive slower for the magnificent views of the ocean that will be had.

Going to Rt 1 or to I-95 would be the long way - more mileage.
