Can someone please tell me what month,time of year is best for seeing moose.

Hmmm, that%26#39;s an interesting question. I don%26#39;t know about a best time. Your chances may improve in June when the bugs drive them crazy and they move around a lot more.

They are in rut in the fall, however that%26#39;s also hunting season.

We%26#39;ve seen moose pretty consistently in northwestern Maine - areas like Eustis, Rangeley, Oquossoc, etc. Morning and evening are the best times.

A couple of years ago, two moose walked through our campsite in Boothbay!

We always see at least one when we%26#39;re in the Rangeley area.

Maine Gov has a moose crash map with times and months of higher incidents and good info link attached to copy / paste. The more current 2005 version has similar info but is more difficult to view.
