Somes Sound House

I know this is probably a long shot but here goes....

Someone was telling me about a house for rent that is owned by an artist/art gallery owner in Somes Sound. The home was booked for rental for a week by someone he was vacationing with and he couldn%26#39;t really tell me how to get in touch with the owner about renting or a website for the place or anything. I%26#39;m wondering if anyone knows where I am talking about and has information on how to get in touch with the owner regarding renting. I do know the art gallery is on Cranberry Isle.

Somes Sound House

This is a tough one. First of all, you have some of the place names wrong. There is no village named Somes Sound. The village is Somesville. However, the house might be along the shore of Somes Sound, which covers quite an area. It could be in Northeast Harbor, Hall Quarry, or Southwest Harbor, all of which border the sound.

Next, ';Cranberry Isle'; is a little vague because there is both Great Cranberry and Little Cranberry, which is also known as Isleford. Probably the artist has a gallery on Isleford. You could look around on this web site: http://www.islesfordartists.com/Home.html

Maybe one of the artists has a link to his or her house for rent.

There are many web sites for vacation rental homes in the Acadia area. I don%26#39;t have any of them to hand at the moment. You would have to search through the listing to find those that are on Somes Sound. Could be tedious because there are lots of homes for rent on the island.
