My family will be in Bethel mid-Feb. We are skiing for the first time so I%26#39;m thinking Mt Abram may be right for us??? Also, is there any shuttle or other transportation from Bethel to Mt Abram? Is it an easy drive for Southerners not accustomed to snow and ice?

To my knowledge, there%26#39;s no shuttle from Bethel. It isn%26#39;t far from Bethel, and Route 26 is a main road. Will you have four-wheel-drive? The trick to driving in snow and ice is to go slow, regardless of what you are driving. (And never slam on your brakes!)

If you haven%26#39;t already made housing arrangements, there are rentals on and near the mountain.
