renting cottage on water near Moody Point...have 4 tween relatives visiting. After day at beach, is there anyplace they can walk to (arcade/bowling/movies) where they can hang out without having to been driven by car? Also, can we walk from Moody point to Ogunquit via the beach? (is it all walkable white sand?) Thanks!
what's for kids to do in Moody?There is a decent and pretty big mini golf place in Wells right on route one. Not walkable, but could be a decent place for kids/tweens to hang out. There is also a movie theater right nearby, which probably is walkable from the mini golf.
what's for kids to do in Moody?Remember there are also trolley%26#39;s that can take the kids wherever they would like to go up and down Route 1. We have visited with friends who have teenagers before and they allowed them to ride the trolley%26#39;s. They could reach the movie theatre, the mini golf, the beaches, snack bars and ice cream shoppes. I can%26#39;t recall how much the trolley costs - maybe 75 cents, but if the teens are responsible enough that is an option.
