Cheap Lobster Dinners Anywhere??

Hi,

I%26#39;ll be passing through Kittery on Sunday, November 9th.

We heard that lobster prices have gone down dramatically. Does anybody know of any good restaurants that has good deals on lobsters (preferably a sit down restaurant and not a take out lobster pound or grocery store).

We really like Roberts Maine Grill and Market when we pass through for lunch. Lobster pounds are closed. You%26#39;d have to call for the current market price.

join the email club and get a coupon. Stick to the boiled lobster or broiled seafood here as some of their other stuff (lobster rolls, crab sandwich) is not very good.

';Boat prices'; -- the price the lobster distributors are paying lobster fishermen tanked in October....some of the guys were telling the media it was cheaper to stay in port than to pull traps... but aside from the occasional promotion here or there, I haven%26#39;t seen any great rush by the restaurants to match the drop in boat prices.... Probably a few deals out there I haven%26#39;t seen/heard, but there doesn%26#39;t seem to be a general stampede by the restaurant community to cut prices...

Others may have seen some closer-to-the-coast deals that I have from Central Maine, but I haven%26#39;t even see much advertising of discounted lobster dinners... Some of the restaurants have had a tough season and may feel they need to keep the prices up to support the bottom line going into the winter...

But even at the regular price, lobster is still a great meal!
