Does anyone know if this place is still operating? I sent an e mail in an attempt to make a reservation but have not yet received a response. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Haven%26#39;t been to that part of Auburn in a while...so can%26#39;t answer your question directly...

However, can offer a couple of thoughts for you to consider:

1. Hundreds of Maine people and businesses have had their e-mail service disrupted during the past month as Fairpoint Communications completed the transfer of technology from former Verizon customers. (Fairpoint bought out Verizon in Maine last year and has had recurring conversion problems.) Perhaps the Sleepy Time was one of those accounts. If so, they may never have received your original e-mail. You might try it again.

2. Some smaller motels in Maine are seasonal and close for the winter. Although I don%26#39;t believe the Sleepy Time fits that category, it%26#39;s a remote possibility.

3. I%26#39;d try calling them: 207-783-1435
